Responsible for setting up and operating a multi-color, multiple process in-line flexographic press to process raw materials to customer specifications. Responsible for the quality of the customer specific label while meeting quantity standards and time allowance.
Requirements
• 5+ years related experience or training on inline flexographic label presses.
• Flexographic or graphic arts training an asset.
Hourly Pay
$26 – 32 Junior Operator/Operator in training (Can run basic jobs on their own or advanced jobs with assistance of skilled operator)
$34 – 38 Skilled Operator (can run most jobs on their own. 6 Color/4 color process/Flat or Rotary foil & Embossing/ Basic press maintenance)
$40 – 44 Advanced Operator (Backside printing/Foil overprints/Multiple foils/Change rollers in units/Troubleshoot press problems/Press maintenance/ Can run both R1/R2 press platform)
$45+ Senior Operator (Increases based on major reductions in waste or increases in output and efficiencies)
